Zara Ramm to Narrate

Before Pride and Prejudice

I am delighted to announce that acclaimed British narrator Zara Ramm will narrate the forthcoming audiobook edition of Before Pride and Prejudice.

Zara will bring the Bennet family—and the story that came before Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice—to life in an audiobook produced by Chatterbox Audio Ltd. Recording is planned for October 2026.

The Voice of Before Pride and Prejudice

The wait is over. I am delighted to share that Zara Ramm will narrate the audiobook edition of Before Pride and Prejudice.

From the beginning, I hoped to find a narrator who could bring warmth, wit, and a natural British voice to the Bennet family. Zara was the narrator I hoped for, and I am very pleased that she will be bringing these characters and their story to life.

Recording is planned for October with Chatterbox Audio Ltd. I hope to share more from behind the scenes as the production moves forward.

An Exciting Step Forward

The audiobook edition of Before Pride and Prejudice took an exciting step forward today.

After searching for a narrator who could bring warmth, understated wit, and a natural British voice to the Bennet family, discussions with a distinguished British narrator and an established UK audiobook production company have progressed to the point where production arrangements and scheduling are now being finalized.

I'm not quite ready to announce the narrator's name. There are still agreements to complete and details to put in place, and I'd rather wait until everything is official before doing so.

But I can say this: she is the narrator I hoped for.

If everything proceeds as expected, I'll be able to share her name—and much more about the making of the audiobook—very soon.
